Spring Gardens Moravain Church

Moravians and Music go together. It is one the best ways in which we can praise God,and for this reason Spring Gardens can boast of three choirs,a praise team, a brass band and a Steel Orchestra

  • Senior Choir
  • Junior & Youth Choir
  • Steel Orchestra
The Senior Choir represents one (1) of the ministries of the church, in which we praise God with our voices and minister to others through songs and Hymns of praise. The Senior Choir meets on Thursday Evenings at  6:30pm for rehearsals under the directorship of Sis Caryl Edwards. Membership is voluntary and consists of both men and women who love the Lord and are willing to unite their voices to give Him thanks for the talent with which He has blessed us with.
The Spring Gardens Youth and Junior Choir invite young persons between the ages of 7 to 19 to become part of the choir.  The choir meets for rehearsals once a week on Fridays at 4:45 p.m.  To date, there are about 40 members registered members on the choir.  The choir aims to sing a wide repertoire of musical genres that would be appealing to both the youth and the congregation in general.    The choir is directed by Sis. Marion Byron.

The Spring Gardens Moravian Steel Orchestra was founded on the 1st September 1998 under the leadership of Mr.Eustace “Manning” Henry. The Steel band currently consists of thirteen (13) members. Presently the Band performs on the first Sunday of every month, March of Witness, Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Men’s Fellowship Advent Program, Christmas Festivals, Old Year's night, and any other requested events.
Rehearsals are held every Thursdays and Saturdays at 4:30pm on the church grounds. In an effort to move the band forward, we will be holding a series of fund raising activities which will aid us in purchasing new and additional instruments. We anticipate your support.
The band  have grown tremendously over the years in skill and experience, we are  therefore dedicated to continue praising the Lord through our music, blessing the congregation with songs and improving ourselves as players.
