Rev. Denise Smith-Lewis
Sr. Pastor
Rev. Denise Smith Lewis took up Pastoral appointment at the Spring Gardens Moravian Church in July 15, 2008 as Senior Pastor. A sister of the soil of Antigua, she is the wife of Rev. Algernon Lewis, and the mother of two boys: Yemun and Y’mahzie Lewis.
Having felt the call to ministry, she offered herself for service and studied at the United Theological College of the West Indies and at the University of the West Indies. From here she graduated in 1993. Rev. Denise Smith-Lewis was ordained in January, 1995.
Rev. Denise Smith-Lewis has served as the Pastor of the Gracefield and Bethany Moravian Churches in Antigua, and also at the Bethesda Moravian Church and Keys Fellowship in St. Kitts.
Poetry, short- stories and song-writing form her passionate pastime. She has committed herself to reaching the lost and bringing hope to the hurting. The words of the Psalmist in Ps 139: 12-14 serve as the compass for self understanding: I am fearfully and wonderfully made marvellous are thy works and that my soul knoweth quite well. This gives purpose to her life. Her purpose is to bear fruit that will last. (John 15)

Pastor Shawn Roberts accepted a call to serve as Associate Pastor at the Spring Gardens Moravian Church in August 2009.
